At least, it was in the second two weeks of 2014, when we cycled north from Göteborg and back. Everyone told us they'd had the most amazing summer, with non-stop sunshine from May to the middle of August, but that didn't make us feel better, for some reason.
It's clear that the end of August can be rainy in Sweden, though it's rarely quite as rainy as we had it - the papers were full of pictures of floods and rescues and CHAOS! This did make us feel a bit better as we dripped our way north.
